A follow-up sequence takes care of the texts. It doesn't take care of the clicking around them. The buyer answers the third message, and a rep still has to drag the card to the next stage, set a call reminder, and update the "Contacted" field. Meanwhile the sequence keeps texting someone who is already on the phone with your salesperson.

Trove automations now handle that part too. They've grown from timed messages into workflows that update the opportunity and react to replies.
A step in an automation can now change the opportunity instead of, or alongside, sending a message. Set the sales stage, pipeline, owner, status, close date, lead source or location, or fill in any custom field. Move a deal into a "Long-Term Nurture" stage once the welcome sequence finishes, hand it to a specific rep at a certain point, or mark "Initial contact made" after the first message goes out.
Every change is recorded in the opportunity's activity feed, the same as a teammate's edit. Field-only steps run as soon as their delay is up, even outside your send window, because a record change has no reason to wait for business hours.
Each automation now has a When the customer replies setting for inbound texts and portal messages: Keep going, Pause it, or Stop it. Separately, a reply can update the opportunity, for example setting a "Replied" field or moving the deal to an "Engaged" stage.
On the opportunity itself, the Automations card leads with Pause, which holds the buyer's place until someone clicks Resume. If a deal drifts out of an automation's trigger criteria, the card marks it Invalid and the sequence waits, picking back up on its own if the deal returns to a matching state.

Triggers aren't limited to pipeline and stage. Add conditions on your custom fields, like Customer type is B2B or a move-in date before a certain day, and an opportunity enrolls the moment someone edits that field. No stage move required. A live counter shows how many opportunities match before you turn it on.
Enroll a few hand-picked opportunities from the Enrollments card on the automation, then click Run test to fire the next step right now. It skips the send window so you can test after hours, but every other check still applies, so a test surfaces the same reasons a real send would be dropped. Remove all only clears your test rows. The preview rail shows each message rendered for a real opportunity, with field changes noted under each step.
Email steps can also use your own branded template. Upload a designed email, for example one exported from Canva or Mailchimp, and the merge tag picker drops buyer and deal details in where you want them.
Tasks set up on a pipeline stage can now go to one specific teammate, say your title clerk, instead of whoever owns the deal. Moving a batch of opportunities with Bulk Edit now creates each stage's tasks, the same as dragging one card at a time.
To spot deals with nothing queued, add the Tasks column to the Opportunities table and filter on No tasks assigned. The Tasks page opens on everything due today plus anything overdue, and Unassigned in the Assigned to filter catches tasks with no owner.
When the pipeline updates itself as buyers respond, the board reflects where deals really are, and your reps spend their time on conversations instead of data entry.
