Payments & Deposits

Collect deposits without leaving the deal.

Request a deposit or one-off payment from the opportunity, send the customer a secure pay link by email or text, and watch it move from Open to Paid on the deal. Customers pay by bank transfer or card through your own Stripe account, and the money goes straight to your bank.

For buyers

A pay page buyers trust

The pay page lives on your domain and shows your business name, what the payment is for, the amount and the due date. Bank transfer is listed first because it costs a fraction of a card on deposit-sized amounts.

  • Pay by bank transfer (ACH) or card, with the methods you allow per site and per invoice
  • No login: the link itself is the customer's way in, and it keeps working until the invoice is paid or voided
  • If a bank transfer fails to clear, the invoice reopens and the same link works for a retry
  • Secure checkout run through Stripe on your own connected account

For your team

Every dollar on the deal

The deal's Payments tab shows what has been collected and what is still outstanding. Each request carries its status, how it was sent, how it was paid and the fee taken out, so nobody has to open Stripe to answer a customer.

  • Statuses: Open, Processing, Paid, Partly refunded, Refunded and Void
  • Mark an invoice paid when the customer brings cash or a check, with a reference number
  • Refund all or part of a Stripe payment from the row's menu, with an internal reason
  • Void a request that is no longer needed. It stays on the deal for the record

Templates make it a one-click request

Admins build the invoices your team sends again and again: Initial deposit, Site inspection fee, Earnest money. Reps pick one, confirm the amount and send. Custom amounts are always available.

  • Templates carry a name, amount, optional customer note and allowed payment methods
  • Invoices from $0.50 to $500,000, paid in full in one go
  • Preview the pay page exactly as the customer will see it before sending
  • Check with Stripe from the row when a customer says they paid and the status has not caught up
