Plenty of dealers have a salesperson who handles the Spanish-speaking families who walk the lot. That conversation usually goes well. The problem is everything that happens before it: the evenings spent browsing floor plans, comparing homes, and deciding which dealership is worth the drive. If your website only speaks English, some of those buyers never make it to your lot.

Trove websites can now be offered in more than one language. Turn on Spanish (or any of 11 other languages) and visitors can read your entire site in the language they're most comfortable with, from the home page and catalog to home details and the Design Studio.
You don't translate page by page. Your content stays written in your default language, and Trove machine-translates it on the fly when a visitor picks another one.
To turn it on, open Appearance → General and scroll to Languages & Translation:

As soon as two or more languages are enabled, the switcher appears on your public site and translation starts working. Remove the extra language and the switcher hides itself again.
Trove supports English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Chinese (Simplified), Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, Russian, and Arabic. Each one is listed in its own script (Español, Français, 中文) so a visitor always recognizes their language.
We put the switcher where people look for it, without making you configure anything:
A visitor's choice is remembered on their device, so the next time they come back to look at that 3-bedroom double-wide again, the site is already in Spanish.
Headings, body copy, buttons, links, and form labels all translate, along with image alt text, placeholders, and tooltips. Content that loads as a visitor scrolls or clicks gets translated as it appears. Switching back to the default language restores the original text without reloading the page.
Your photos, videos, logo, and colors stay exactly as they are. Text that shouldn't change, like brand names or model numbers, can be marked so it isn't translated.
If you use Trove's cookie consent banner, it translates along with the rest of the page.
Machine translation is very good for comprehension, but it can miss nuance. Before you promote the Spanish version of your site, have someone read your home page hero, your main calls to action, and any legal or financing copy in each language you've enabled. If you have a bilingual salesperson, a half hour of their time here is well spent.
Buying a home is a big, document-heavy decision, and buyers want to understand what they're looking at before they call. A family that can read your floor plans, home details, and process in their own language arrives at the lot further along and more confident in who they're dealing with.
It also changes who feels welcome to reach out. A buyer who has to fight through an English-only site may simply move on to the next search result. One who can switch to Español in a tap is much more likely to fill out your form or start a chat.
If you're already on Trove, log in and head to Appearance → General → Languages & Translation, or ask your account manager to help you get set up. If you're not on Trove yet, book a demo at buildtrove.com and we'll show you your site in Spanish.
